1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ResumeXpert AI mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and RHD Studio ("Developer").

2. Description of Service

ResumeXpert AI is a local-first resume building tool that allows users to create, customize, and export professional resumes as PDF documents. The App utilizes local on-device storage (Hive) to save your data and integrates with third-party services, including Google AdMob for advertising and AI-powered suggestion engines.

3. Local Data Storage & Responsibility

  • No Cloud Backup: ResumeXpert AI stores all your resume data, including text, images, and settings, locally on your physical device. We do not have access to your data, nor do we store it on any external servers.
  • Data Loss: You are solely responsible for backing up your resumes (e.g., by exporting them as PDFs). If you uninstall the App, clear your device's app data, or lose your device, your resume data will be permanently deleted. The Developer is not responsible for any loss of data under any circumstances.

4. AI Features & User Responsibility

  • Suggestions Only: Any AI-generated suggestions, summaries, or skill recommendations provided by the App are for inspirational and educational purposes only.
  • Accuracy: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, truthfulness, and completeness of all information included in your resume. Do not submit false, misleading, or plagiarized information.
  • No Employment Guarantee: The Developer does not guarantee that using this App, its templates, or its AI features will result in employment, interviews, or a higher ATS score. The User assumes all risks associated with their job applications.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain full ownership of the personal information, text, and images you input into the App.
  • Our Content: The App's source code, UI design, resume templates, and branding are the exclusive property of RHD Studio. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the templates for creating your personal resumes. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the App's templates or code.

6. Third-Party Services & Advertising

  • Ads: The App displays advertisements via Google AdMob, Unity Ads, and Liftoff. By using the App, you agree to these third parties' Terms of Service and Privacy Policies regarding ad delivery.
  • External Links: The App may contain links to external sites (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these third-party sites.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RHD STUDIO, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RHD Studio from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party (e.g., using copyrighted material in your resume).

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
